We developed all the electronics for an intelligent smartband. The smart band is capable of reading the heart rate, oximetry and temperature of the person who is wearing it. With these readings together with information obtained from the built in inertial force sensor and the GPS module the device for instance can estimate the amount of calories burnt within a workout session. The device also has wireless connectivity through BLE 4.0 allowing it to send all biometric information to the Internet for posterior analysis. A friendly LCD screen and four buttons allow the user to interact with the device.
